Issue: LCD Screen Replacement / Fix

Symptoms

LCD screen does not function properly
Glitches or lines appear on the screen
Portion of the screen is black and does not change
Dead pixels are visible
LCD screen displays a blue screen
Screen blacks out briefly and returns
Head unit functions but LCD screen does not turn on

Possible Causes

LCD screen is damaged
Power cable is loose
Ribbon cable is loose or unplugged
HDMI cable is loose or unplugged
Electrical or signal interference across wires

Step-by-Step Resolution

If the LCD screen is cracked or has dead pixels, the screen will need to be replaced. Contact ATA Photobooths Technical Support so we can verify the LCD dimensions and match a replacement from stock.
Check the main power cable for the booth. Make sure it is fully plugged in and connected to a working outlet.
If the screen is blue, check the HDMI cable connections. Verify the HDMI cable is securely connected behind the booth at the top section and in the middle section.
If the screen is flickering, unplug and replug the ribbon cable. The ribbon cable is located behind the HDMI cable in the middle of the booth. If you cannot access this safely, stop and contact Technical Support.
Check the Ethernet cable behind the back panel at the top of the column. Also verify the USB cable next to it is firmly connected.
Inspect all cables for pinching, sharp bends, or interference. Reroute cables gently if needed and test again.

Important: Always power off and unplug the booth before reseating cables.
